The Virginia Tech student athlete is accused of the alleged murder and kidnapping of a 13-year-old girl disappeared from her home last week as the authorities.

Police arrested 18-year-old David Eisenhauer after the investigation of the disappearance of Nicole guided her to his room, Blacksburg police chief Anthony Wilson said at a press conference.

Nicole’s body was found about 80 kilometers from his home in the night of Saturday, on route 89, right on the line of the state of North Carolina, in the County of Surrey.

“This is a sad day for the Blacksburg community. As a father I know it’s unbearable loss for the family of Lovell,” Blacksburg mayor Ron Rordam, said in a press release.

The police have not said how they focused on Eisenhauer, or will it be a girl prior to her abduction. However, Wilson credited tips from the community to help find her, Nicole’s body.

“We will shed the advice of Blacksburg, Christiansburg and Montromery municipalities in the area,” he said. “Without the help of our citizens, tips and information, we would not be able to cope with Nicole back home to his family that serves it, from her abduction and death.”
